Due to post security requirements, visitors should plan for possible delays when entering Fort Lee. Any vehicle without a Department of Defense decal will be directed to a vehicle registration area upon entering the main entrance at Route 36. You will be required to provide a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance to obtain a temporary pass for entry onto Fort Lee. To expedite your entry, please have these necessary documents available when you arrive at the main entrance.

FROM I-95: Take exit 54 (Temple Avenue). At light, turn right onto Route 144 South (Temple Avenue). Stay on Temple Avenue through four stop lights (3.2 miles). At the fifth stop light, turn right onto Route 725 (River Road). Go approximately 0.5 miles to stop sign and turn right onto Route 36. Merge into the left lane. Travel 0.6 miles to stop light. Turn left into the Main Gate at Fort Lee. After the security check, stay on Lee Avenue for 0.6 miles to second stop light. Go through the stop light and bear right into the Lee Club parking area.

FROM I-295: Take exit 9B (Fort Lee, Prince George) to Route 36. Stay straight through four stop lights. After the fourth stop light, merge into the left lane. At the fifth stop light, t urn left into the Main Gate at Fort Lee. After the security check, stay on Lee Avenue for 0.6 miles to second stop light. Go through the stop light and bear right into the Lee Club parking area.
